The Sidewinder was one of the jackets that showed GORE-TEX could handle steep freeride lines, not just the climb up. For its 25th anniversary, Arc'teryx brings it back.

What stays: the curved Sidewinder zipper, which bends away from your chin so nothing rubs. What's new: a more relaxed fit, offset pockets that play up the asymmetric look, and a hybrid GORE-TEX ePE shell with ripstop where it wears most.

Why it's interesting: a real piece of outdoor design history, updated rather than just reissued. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory.
